Tom Loffman
I
have been called Sacramento's most experienced TV meteorologist. No one
currently anchoring the news has been on the air longer in Sacramento . My
career started at Channel 3 (KCRA) in 1978. I moved over to Channel 13 (KOVR)
in 1987, and since 2000 I have been the Chief Meteorologist for UPN Channel
31's “Good
Day Sacramento .”
With the encouragement
of my wife, Debbie, I am now a licensed real estate agent and have joined
her in forming, "Loffman Realty". We will provide the same high
level of service and excellence to real estate that I have tried to provide
in forcasting the weather.
I graduated from the
University of California Berkeley in 1976 and hold the American Meteorology
Society (AMS) Seal of Approval. I have been a member of its Board of
Broadcast Meteorology.
I
published three weather books. My latest, “The Traveler's Weather
Guide” is the most popular travel weather guide book in the world. I
was the first television weathercaster to start his own website: www.tloffman.com
My
hobbies include travel, photography, and running. I have been a runner
for over 35 years and have finished 9 marathons. Debbie & I are faithful
Sacramento Kings fans. |

Debbie Loffman
Since
I was a teenager I knew I wanted to be a Realtor. I was taking college
courses in real estate while still in high school. Years later, after
raising a family, and starting a tenant screening company, I finally
got my real estate license in 1998. I got my Broker's license in 2005.
Helping
people find the right home and assembling pieces of land together for
builders are tasks that bring me a great deal of satisfaction. I also
enjoy helping investors purchase and sell apartment complexes and commercial
buildings.
Joining the Carmichael Chamber of Commerce and serving as Vice
President on the board really helped me become a part of my community.
I even met my husband, Tom, at a Chamber of Commerce function. Some of
you may remember me by my former name, Debbie Rajender.
In 2002, I was
appointed by the Board of Supervisors to serve on CPAC, ( Carmichael
's Community Planning Advisory Council). This appointment has given me
experience investigating land projects coming before the Planning Commission.
I
have 2 grown children: both are in college studying engineering.
We
all attend Bayside Church in Granite Bay. |
